Last March I photographed Penrose in the snow, but I came back in mid October to take more pictures without the snowflakes in the way.

It is a beautiful neighborhood, but abandonment is beginning to creep in, and I worry about the long term health of the area as home loans become difficult to acquire.

Older housing stock, which was built in the late Nineteenth Century, unlike the housing built between the wars, is in worse shape.
