Never in a million years would I have imagined that one of my favorite buildings in St. Louis, up at the corner of Bremen and Blair Avenues, would be rescued from the jaws of demolition. I had found this row years ago, after most of it had been demolished. Kudos to the owners, for taking a leap of faith, and to the LRA and former Alderman Bosley for agreeing to sell the home to the rehabbers. I’ll see if I can meet the people who are saving this wonderful building from at least the 1870s.
