There’s still some history left in Ballwin, and the small but elegant Methodist church, anchoring the summit of the hill Manchester Road passes over on its was to Wildwood and beyond.
Simple, Romanesque Revival details decorate the church, which dates from 1870.
The historic center of Ballwin was demolished for a strip mall, that was named “Old Towne.” No, I’m not kidding.
