I don’t know what to think about this building….monstrosity? Interesting architecture? Whatever it is, it doesn’t fit in this area, in my opinion.
I can understand your sentiments; I am still not sure what to think of it, either. It has certainly provoke a lot of discussion, that is certain.
I was just coming on here to ask what your thoughts were on this building. I consider myself to be very open-minded when it comes to different styles of architecture but I’m having a really difficult time wrapping my head around this one.
More. This is great.
It’s beautiful.
Fantastic work from one of Chicago’s premier architect. Can’t wait to see it finished.
I agree that Jeanne Gang is an exciting architect to watch.
Well folks, I’m a lucky guy here in 2022 to be on the 14th floor overlooking one of the most beautiful urban landscape PUBLIC parks in the nation.
Think NYC, Chicago, Boston, and San Francisco. This architectural design, location, and presence is an asset to St. Louis. All that can get their heads into what urban community means should simply enjoy. Forget to negative nellies.
Thanks for sharing! You’re the first person I have heard from who lives in this building. Every new building built in St. Louis is an asset. And yes, people don’t know what they’re missing in our amazing Forest Park and Central West End neighborhood. Mind sharing some photos of the view? I would love to see them.
