While stopped to get fuel, I spotted this modest but intriguing textile mill sitting along a river in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Built at the beginning of America’s Industrial Revolution, they’re a symbol of a time when optimism and excitement for the future of the country was still strong. Hopefully one day that spirit, and this mill, will be revived.
This mill looks abandoned, but they actually rent out space. There was a martial arts place downstairs and upstairs they rented out space for bands to practice. Alot of the old mills that are ‘abandoned’ are simply used for storage space.
I actually have explored the place, it is really cool even though most of it is falling apart
I would love to see pictures if you have them!
