Hey all, after a couple of weeks of St. Louis Patina being down, my good friend from college, Keith Aumiller, was able to rescue my blog from a bad hosting situation. The great news: the vast majority, as in upper 90% of the site was saved; the bad news: here and there, images were lost, leaving a broken image icon behind. The good news is that the broken image icon tells me what image was lost, and they’re all safe on my computer. Also, I have a backup of all of my posts, so if there are any posts that are completely missing, I can reassemble them.

This is where I need your help. Whenever you stumble across a broken image or you suspect a missing post, let me know at naffziger(at)gmail(dot)com. I won’t be offended, and I need to know what is broken. It’s going to take a while, but we’ll get it back to perfect. The good news, as I mentioned before, is that most of the content is safe and sound here. In the coming weeks, I’ll polish up the template and we’ll be better than ever.

Keith’s internet company, St. Louis Integration, is now the official sponsor of St. Louis Patina. Do Keith a favor, and the next time you need some internet or website development, strongly consider his company for your needs. In all honesty, St. Louis Patina might have been dead (or at the minimum, lost all posts since July 2012 and now), if he and his company had not graciously fixed the site.

So we’re back with a vengeance, with a possible new co-contributor in the near future, and all of the same beautiful St. Louis architecture and poorly written, typo-filled commentary. See you tomorrow!

Yeah, wasn’t going to let my blog come to an end with the last post being a picture of a dead bird lying on the ground in front of an historic marker…
