Central High School, Revisited

Update: Compare to Cleveland, Roosevelt and McKinley high schools. See the interior from September of 2016 and the exterior of September of 2017. The school had deteriorated further when I checked up on it in August of 2022.

Well, not much has changed for the positive in the three years since I last photographed Central High School. I looked at it for the first time back in March of 2013.

Honestly, at the rate it’s going, this will be torn down before anyone gets to save it. The trees and brush have begun to consume the building.

I would also put money on the chances that every copper pipe, wire, and system with any value inside the building has been stripped out. Can’t even imagine the cost of re-installing all that!
