Ugh, I hate all these new same-same bridge designs. I lived in Charleston when they demolished the twin bridges and put up one of these, which is almost like the one they have in Savannah and the one going to Alton….
The nearest bike pedestrian crossing that I’m aware of, is in Keokuk, Iowa, 40 minutes south of this bridge. There may be more to the north, but I’m not sure.

No, there isn’t, which raises an interesting question. There is no other crossing of the Mississippi other than a very old railroad bridge.
