Red brick, at least on the front of houses, was certainly out of style by the early Twentieth Century.
Rich red, almost brown brick predominates houses west of Kingshighway.
Flat roofs, which dominated St. Louis for a century, are replaced by pitched roofs, with the red clay tiles so common in Spanish and Mediterranean architecture.

I am unsure. I believe it could be original since the windows match throughout. Since they are all wood, it is unlikely that they have all been replaced (at least anytime in the past twenty or so years). That being said, I believe the flashing above and shingles below have been changed from their original configuration. Those shingles coming up to just below the windows looks odd to me.
