Update: See the Fremont School from the same era in October of 2019.
After the recent demolition of the Hodgen School on Lafayette, the old Lyon School in the Anheuser-Busch campus provides one of the few reminders of our education system before the rise of the great Ittner/Milligan team in the early Twentieth Century.
There is a newer Lyons School on the 7400 block of Vermont designed by Ittner.
I think the first floor of this building has been turned into the “Anheuser-Busch Old Schoolhouse Museum”. Opening day was March 09.
