Marquette Park, Dutchtown

I attended an autumn festival at Marquette Park in the heart of Dutchtown. It’s interesting how hilly this part of town is, and the towers of St. Anthony of Padua always seem to be looming above you. I snapped these photos from inside the park, looking out at the wide variety of architectural styles and decades surrounding the green space.

    What is that first building? I looks like it may have been a rail station at one time. I’d love to know if it is, one of my projects is locating old railroad infrastructure of St Louis area.
