Someone informed me recently that my Christmas lights, bought in 1999 but never used until earlier this decade, are “old school.” I guess that means they suck up electricity or something?

I think “old school” means that you have individual light bulbs which will burn out at some point and you will have a hard time finding replacement bulbs in this decade….
