The builded illustrated in this post (3rd pic from the bottom) with elaborate tile filed pointed-arches was constructed as a show room for a tile company. It was later the home of Melbourne Florist. From about 1950 until 1982 it was home of Davis Art Glass. Davis Art Glass was the successor firm to Davis and Chambers which completed among other important commissions all of the mosaics and stained glass (including the famous St. Louis window above the entrance). You can read more about that here: http://www.stlouisarchitecture.org/2007_files/Summer%202007.pdf
