South Down 20th Street from the Grand Water Tower, Part 2

Back in January of this year, I took pictures of the east side of the 20th Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood, and in February, I came back, this time photographing the west side of the street.

Update: The house in the photographs above and below was demolished in 2020.

There are some masterpieces of architecture, such as this house above and in the two following photographs. It was a simple middle class house, but it has amazing details.

Just look at that porch; it still has the original detailing in both wood and stone.

There are other amazing Second Empire and Italianate houses and stores further south.
