Doglegging across Mimika Avenue (whose name is an interesting choice–was it from a daughter of the Jennings family or the people in Indonesia?), we look at the block of Sherry closer to Riverview.

The housing is much older than the block to the west, and much of it is in worse condition or abandoned. A streetcar line did seem to make it out here sometime between 1906 and 1940, so development probably started soon after but due to its isolation construction on houses surely was slow.

Homes are small; they’re not shotguns, but probably are no more than a room and a hallway wide.

I’m also suspicious if some of the houses predate the platting of the addition in 1906.

For example, the house above is most likely from the Nineteenth Century; City records stating 1923 surely refers to the addition out the back.

Right before we reach Riverview Boulevard, we see this nice well-kept house from 1954. There was probably something here before that was demolished, opening up the lot.
