Alabama Avenue Between Primm Street and Robert Avenue

I realized that I have looked at all of the main north-south streets in Carondelet with the exception of Alabama Avenue, so I went down to the southernmost block and proceeded north.

The first part, leaving behind Primm Street, has light industrial with a series of warehouses and other buildings.

Then there is some in-fill, which I suspect was built on what was additional industrial use.

Then we being to see what is often the case in Carondelet, which is a series of wood frame houses with different additions to enlarge the original footprint.

Sadly, there have been fires, as well.

More industry…

Then some more in-fill from the mid Twentieth Century.

We then reach Robert Street, where Alabama doglegs.
