I note what appear to be bullet holes in the glass; don’t structures like this naturally have some sort of perpetual care that could at least put a piece of clear packing tape over the holes?
Are many other mausolea in Calvary or Bellefontaine violated? How do those cemeteries maintain security?
Those are bullet holes. Security at Bellefontaine is excellent–I’ve never see any vandalism.
Unfortunately, Calvary has had some trouble with vandalism. I have no idea why someone shot the mausoleum. They stole a pair of doors from Calvary a few years ago.
