Minneapolis “came into its own” a little later than St. Louis, so its historic skyscrapers are younger than the Gateway City’s, which tend to be clustered around 1900. In Minneapolis, there are a plethora of absolutely stunning Art Deco office buildings, and I photographed some of them, which you can see here.
F+M Savings Bank is one of my faves – check the interior if you can. Fantastically well preserved. You should get some images of Foshay too. But MPLS has such a rich architectural history running right up to the present. There are some buildings in the State Fairgrounds that also fit the art deco style – the Horticulture pavilion and the Colisuem (I think).
