I snapped these photos the last time it snowed in St. Louis back when it was just pretty and not a complete and total nightmare like this most recent snowstorm. I’m experimenting around with a new function which is a gallery; as has always been the case you can click on any photo to see a larger version. I took a typical path around Bellefontaine Cemetery.

One f the most beautiful and historic cemeteries in the country, and they now have added ‘arboretum’ to the description as there are an enormous variety of tree species on the grounds. Many people were rather shocked last year that none other than Rush Limbaugh would choose to be buried there since he really has no connection to St. Louis. I suspect that it was a last attempt at ‘respectability’. Someone had a sardonic sense of humor though because he is apparently buried next to the grave of William S. Burroughs.
