  1. My Mother had a friend who lived in one of those houses around the park. Boy, coming from the boonies of Kirkwood, we thought this was high society back in the '40s. Mom's buddy was from England before the War and was veddy proper; I recall the sandwiches she served were tiny things with no crust.That has always been a classy area and I'd imagine the housing prices have reflected it.

    Wonderful memories of growing up in Clifton Heights in 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Would love to see pics of neighborhood back then. I grewup on Elizabeth Ave.
