I have asked the question before, but has anyone who is not a well-connected developer ever been able to purchase a building from the LRA?
I have been told it is largely through the whims of the local alderman. But I might get in trouble for saying that.
Funny you should say that since former alderman Antonio French either owns or recently owned the building.
Ah, that was actually another man with the same name–I thought the same thing, but a reporter cleared that up finally.
