There’s not much more I can say that Toby Weiss didn’t already masterfully cover in this post, but I can report that most likely this building will not be torn down after all, at least not in the near future. I hope so; it’s an interesting, unique example of Modernism in the St. Louis region. It’s still looking good, as of late March.

Nice link Yojimbo, I read the Guardian regularly and missed this article. I saw the post by Toby did on this building, thanks for letting everyone know it is safe for now, I would have wondered. St. Louis is so poor on urban planning. I went to google maps street view and there is a tired strip mall across the street. That is what needs to be replaced, not this building.
