I somehow managed to randomly end up going down the same street I had detoured down back in back in late October of 2024, which was Garfield Avenue east of North Newstead Avenue. How this happened I don’t know, but it is interesting to see how the street changed in just two months.

The light and the trees are different, to be sure.

And I may have captured a house or two that I didn’t see last time.

And as I’ve long said that one of the purposes of this website is to break down preconceived notions and prejudices. I for one still have some; I certainly didn’t expect to see a Tesla Cybertruck parked on Garfield Avenue in the Ville, but there it was parked on the other side of the street. So we can never jump to conclusions about what we’ll see.

Ugh- I hate the cyber trucks. But I love your daily blog.
I pray for StLouis’ in 2025, especially Walnut Park.
