Crossing over Union Boulevard, we switch over to Lotus Avenue, which is one way to the east in the Kingsway West neighborhood. Dominated by the former DePaul Hospital, the area is dominated by extremely long blocks that stretch all the way from Union to Kingshighway, such as Wabada Avenue, one block to the north, which I’ve looked at before in July of 2021.

There are more abandoned houses on this long block that its counterparts to the north, but for the most part it is in good shape like the most of Kingsway West.

There are many two-families, as well as the more rare duplex.

Single families look little different in form than multi-families.

But then in the middle of the block there are more lavish houses that I would expect to see to the southwest of here.

In fact, with such long blocks, there is just about every style represented.
