North Taylor Avenue is a long street, and it serves as a secondary artery for much of the North Side.

So it’s incredibly annoying when all of the sudden at Natural Bridge Avenue, it is one way to the south.

I went and detoured around the one way streets and before I knew it, I was back on North Taylor.

But I didn’t know that at the time, because the street signs are all missing. But I really like these bungalows, which are all over this part of town.

And they’re all occupied, which is good. I always like those little false windows in the parapet where there’s no real second story.

These manageable sturdy homes seem in reasonably good shape. St. Louis had and has much working class housing of architectural interest and diversity unlike many other Cities with old tract housing resembling barracks turned to the streets.
I can think of several cities where that description is apt.
