Heading south on Hadley Street, we pass by some houses that we’ve looked at before, back in September of 2019.

The problem with this street is that it is a major cut-through to get over to the on-ramp onto southbound Interstate 70, so cars fly down this stretch. Who wants to listen to people revving their engines all night at highway speeds before they are even on the highway?

I don’t know when these houses were renovated, but they were part of some redevelopment at some point. Note the mouseholes on the building at the far right.

Turning east onto Montgomery Street, we see a block that has been heavily affected by the interstates and fire over the last decade.

While the north side of the street has been left relatively unscathed, the south side was devastated by fire in the summer of 2018.

But there are still some houses, in the Greek Revival style, that could be renovated.
