Orrville, Wildwood

Orrville, a small town buried deep back in the wooded hills of northeastern Wildwood, sits just off of old Eatherton Road.

The country store building survives, but is now a private residence.

This is the only town where I was able to photograph all of the buildings in town.

Below is a plat map of the town from the turn of the Twentieth Century, showing some of the buildings that I think are still standing. Note Orrville was in Meramec and not Lafayette Township at the time.

  1. It's neat to find these hidden places that happen to be near suburbia. I hope these buildings can stay for a long time.
