Update: The church was purchased at the City tax auction in mid 2019, and was being renovated into a community arts center; however, all signs of activity ended long ago.
There is bad news to report at the old Grace Lutheran Church, whose later congregation had to abandon it due to costs associated with operating a massive masonry structure. The roof of the side porch has collapsed, and the plywood which I photographed back in October 2018 has fallen out of the lancet window. It is so sad to see this happening.
