This humble little church sits right by Manchester Avenue, surrounded by a car repair and a larger building that casts a glowering shadow on it towards sunset, but I still really like it. The stained glass is still preserved, and the building is well-maintained. Originally built as a German Lutheran church, it is now owned by a new congregation.
I was a member of this church for the first 22 years of my life from 1980 to 2002. It closed and was sold just a few years later. This was a place of love and I have beautiful memories here. Our Pastor was and is one of the most caring people I have ever met and the small congregation was a second family to me. Its nice to see that this humble little church is still appreciated.
