Is it the smokestack for the old City House (Sacred Heart) HS complex, which sat immediately West of it? The site is now covered with condos/apartments. Satellite views do not seem to connect it with a purpose. If it’s the remaining structure of C.H., I wonder why it was left.
C.H. (1827) closed in 1968, merging with sister school Villa Duchesne (1929) and the complex was razed sometime later. Demographics changed.
Where in Jefferson Barracks is this? I have spent a lot of time there and do not recall seeing this before.
Oops, it is actually behind the New Cathedral in the Central West End.

I think so, Tom.
I checked an aerial image of the New Cathedral. I don’t see this chimney. Can you tell me what streets it is near. Thanks.

Thanks.
I believe this is Cardinal Ritter Senior Services facility.
