We’ll start off with Pictorial St. Louis right off the bat, as I believe the vast majority of the houses on this block were completed by the time it was published in 1876.

The corner store is one building that appears, but at only two stories. I believe the store received an additional story at some point.

The house above appear in Pictorial St. Louis, but as was common, it received a storefront remodeling as the density of the neighborhood increased.

The remaining buildings also date to at least 1875 and probably much earlier.

The house below is not old but rather modern in-fill.

The foundation is the dead giveaway and the strange fenestration and placement of doors on the first and second floors. We now reach Emmett Street.
