South Seventh Boulevard Between Shenandoah and Geyer Avenues

Crossing Shenandoah Avenue and heading north, we see this house standing by itself. It’s obvious that the front facade has been relaid, and judging from the tagging, it’s been sitting like this for a while.

But moving north, we see tow examples of houses where there has been successful relaying of brick and occupancy. These are some very old houses here.

Of course at Russell Boulevard we run into this gas station which ruins everything.

Sts. Peter and Paul looms above us, with its back to Seventh Boulevard.

Then, after the rectory, we get to where we were back in November of 2025.

  1. The bell that is visible in the front yard of the rectory of St.Peter & Paul was the church bell of the previous building, and is believed to be the oldest American-made bell in the city of Saint Louis. A few years ago, it was stolen and then recovered.
