Dating from 1909, St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church was completed in 1929. There seems to have been some work on the dome in the years since I first photographed the building through an alley across Gravois.
The church, like many in St. Louis, draws people from around the region.

Hello! I’m hoping you will provide me with the
address of St. Michael The Archangel Orthodox
Church. I’m a senior that has moved to O’Fallon
to be with family for many reasons, including
medical care. I don’t drive and I’m not very
computer literate. I have to use a stylus to text
due to tremors…Anyway, I was chrismated,
baptized into the Greek Orthodox Church in
1994 and I’m a convert that hasn’t been good
at attending services in a very long time….
I would absolutely love to visit this church!!!
Thank you for your help!
Sure, I’d be happy to help:

Hi, Wendy. I’m a parishioner of St. Michael’s and on the Parish Council. We would love for you to visit us!
Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. – 9th hour and Daily Vespers
Saturday at 5:45 p.m. – 9th hour and Great Vespers
Sundays at 9:35 – 3rd and 6th hours followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m.
We are finishing up construction in the basement and so our Sunday coffee hours are outside on the grounds following Divine Liturgy. Parking is limited to street availability for now, and also there is a Chinese restaurant behind us that is closed on Sundays and we can park there, too.
Thank you so much for the info, Sue, and I
will attend The Divine Liturgy and visit the
Church…I just don’t know when at the
present time. I don’t drive right now due to a
medical problem, but that will change after
the first of the year…The Lord willing. I’m
located in O’Fallon in St. Charles county…and
very busy with relocating…
