I was driving around a bunch, getting out and taking pictures here and there, so I’m not sure where most of these photos are. I know the one below is in the Ville, directly across from the old Homer G. Phillips Hospital. The picture above is one of my favorites I’ve taken in a long time.
I particularly liked this double corner storefront; that huge arch probably once held two doors that led to the corresponding apartments above. The cornice is gone.
This house below was once part of a row; you can see the scars of the house next door still clinging to its side. How sad to see this.
Seems like in your top photo, the right-most units on the end may still be occupied. Intact handrails, Christmas wreaths on the door, a lit bulb, canopies, etc.
Really like the double store front. What a great place for a new business.
