Coming back from a wonderful lecture on the history of the John Busch Brewery at the Washington Historical Society, I thought it would be fun to stop at Wally’s Great American Roadtrip in Fenton off Interstate 44.
It is huge! Just look at all of those gas pumps!

Remarkably clean and with slushy machines that actually work, I was impressed with this new entry into the roadside pit stop business in St. Louis.
The City of Washington Missouri passed a law permitting the smoking of Missouri Meerschaum (tobacco) pipes indoors, as that business requires it. Probably one of the few, if not the only, exceptions to the No Smoking laws.
