North St. Louis, Bellefontaine Cemetery and Southern Dutchtown 003

I return to this intersection often because it affords good views of St. Augustine a block away, but I still find the condition and life of the residential buildings on the other corners interesting to watch over the years.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I was at this intersection, and there were fewer bears on the light post. Now, several new bears have appeared.

This sad mess, after years of seeming stasis, has begun to lose its fight with gravity. It has become semi-famous, appearing on this site numerous times, a movie, and other news reports. It will be gone soon. Or maybe not.

Update: I went back in June of 2018.
