Historic St. Louis County Map

Update: This is a new link as of September of 2023, as the old link to an earlier edition no longer exists on the internet.

This is a link to a fascinating map of St. Louis County in the 1890’s. What is amazing is how pretty much every road we know today was already there over 130 years ago.

  2. I think it’s somewhere on this page.

It looks like it was the “John Gates” farm.

The link to this map doesn’t work. Is there some other way to see it? Thanks!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention; it seems like the State Historical Society of Missouri likes to move it around every so often. The link should work now.
