Update: The house above appears to have been demolished, sometime before June of 2019, but probably long before that time. I returned to the 2600 block of Howard in May of 2017 and June of 2019.
Streets like Howard Street, once just a pleasant street with housing that surely promoted close-knit neighborhoods, now sits abandoned. It’s some of the oldest housing in the city, and it’s rapidly disappearing.
