Wood frame houses, such as this little guy which I suspect is very old, are scattered around the 2700 block of Semple Avenue.

They clearly date from the 19th Century, back before “suburban” style development was built in the early 20th Century.

I’ve been down this street before, in late 2015, and it has not gotten any better.

It is sad to walk down this desolate street, where the houses are no longer in good enough condition to warrant restoration.
