
I specifically set out to try and find another block to explore other than the 5600 block of Labadie Avenue, but then I went and drove down it anyway. The first part to the west I first explored back in March of 2017.

It’s in rough shape. Most of the buildings, some of which were occupied back in 2017, are abandoned, and several have fire damage.

It’s important for people to realize Wells-Goodfellow is suffering and largely forgotten.

I first saw the “beautiful apartment buildings” back in March of 2017, and was immediately captivated by them.

I went back a year later in February of 2018, again in April of 2021, and then twice in 2023 in January and July.

The yards are kept mowed and the boards on the doors and windows are maintained.

I suppose they will be here for a long time.
