Abandoned Parish School, Dutchtown

Update: The school has been renovated into apartments.

Another school sits vacant and vandalized; this time it is the old parish school of St. Thomas Aquin.

The caramel terracotta, seen in Southwest St. Louis, looks like marble.

Here it is, almost one hundred years ago, in better times. The windows are not broken out, but rather open for ventilation when the photograph was taken.
