Cinder Blocks

The construction method of this building allowed its salvation–or did it? Was this in-fill that was sheathed in one course of brick, and the brick thieves came and carted it off? Someone has been living in it recently, as the broken plywood shows. Records show it was built in 1956, and bizarrely lists it as “frame” construction, but I suspect the house looked something now common in St. Louis Hills but scattered here and there throughout the city.
