Update: Completely destroyed by suspected arson in the early morning hours of July 12, 2017. See photos of the mansion in the 1960s here.
Not much has changed at the Clemens Mansion since the last time I was by, except the weeds are taller and the plywood grayer.
Who owns the bldg?
One of Paul McKee’s companies; ’nuff said…
Paul McKee Jr.
I can assure you that much has actually changed. The outside wall on the west side top floor. I think it’s at the front of the orphanage (but it might be the back of the house) is close to collapsing outwards. In fact, I will guarantee it doesn’t survive the winter, if it makes it to the winter. That will effectively destroy the west side of the structure
Perhaps I should qualify my original statement: nothing has changed for the better.
