Update: Completely destroyed by suspected arson in the early morning hours of July 12, 2017. The site is now a vacant lot. See photos of the mansion in the 1960s here.

At this rate, the Clemens Mansion is going to be a pile of rubble in a few years. Offers to help or even buy the property have been ignored.

Gosh this makes me so sad. I’ve looked into its history online, and I’ve driven by this beauty time and time again, but I never get a truly good look at it. I noticed recently the pink heart on the front door. Did you happen to get a glimpse on what it is/what it is for?

So much for the many, MANY, lies and promises by Paul McKee about this place!

I went to see the Clemens Mansion last fall and was amazed how poorly it looked. I had seen several pictures before I went which were taken many years ago. Obviously of the better days of the mansion. I almost missed the site since its so overgrown.
