Just south of Farrar Street on 14th Street, sit these two houses, linked by a party wall. In the back, there is a later building, which I suspect is a garage.

Sadly, the one on the left was gutted by fire recently.

But just look at that beautiful woodwork, curved so gently a century and more ago.

Oh my, it looks like someone is burning trash to keep warm inside the other house!
