I’ve always found the small neighborhood of Marine Villa, tucked up against Broadway and I-55, to be an interesting area of the city. You can see the river from the high bluffs on which the neighborhood sits, a rarity in the city.
And there’s a strange mix of very old houses, from around the Civil War, and more “suburbab” developments from the early Twentieth Century.
And wow, check out this strange commercial building, that looks more like a house in the area than business.
