The North Western Inn will be out of business for awhile, considering the FBI and other law enforcement fired tear gas canisters through each window of the small, weekly rate motel.
Contrary to what the owner said to a news reporter the day of the raid, city records show he did not recently sell it to a new owner.
Yes, city records also show it has bed bugs and cockroaches (wouldn’t it be shocking if it didn’t?). No one seems to know why these motels, like the one I featured a couple of weeks ago are actually in business; it’s not like they provide a place any normal person would actually want to stay. The graphic design on the sign is sort of cool, I guess.

Looks like windows are boarded up? Think I remember where this is….my husband grew of up in the Carrollton Subdivision in Bridgeton.
Sometimes, the government will pay for rooms for the homeless. Maybe that’s called Section 8 Housing.
This was definitely not Section 8 housing…
