Yes, city records also show it has bed bugs and cockroaches (wouldn’t it be shocking if it didn’t?). No one seems to know why these motels, like the one I featured a couple of weeks ago are actually in business; it’s not like they provide a place any normal person would actually want to stay. The graphic design on the sign is sort of cool, I guess.

Sometimes, the government will pay for rooms for the homeless. Maybe that’s called Section 8 Housing.
