I went back and looked at the church on a sunny day in the winter of 2021.
No one I know who lives in the city likes seeing churches go dark, and I was concerned when this congregation closed a couple of years ago.
But the goods news came when this was converted into residential, keeping the church from falling into disrepair. If need-be, and the need arises again one day, obviously this can be turned back into a church. Of course, this is the Central West End, where the real estate market is strong, but what do we do in the parts of the city where it is not?
