Unlike some neighborhoods, such as Wells-Goodfellow, there are not whole streets of them, but they appear in pairs or by themselves. I think that is a good thing; four-family flats are a necessity to provide a wide variety of rental price points, but too many of them together, all getting old at the same time, have created quality of life issues in many neighborhoods. And not surprisingly, the one type of housing type that had the most abandonment, even though there is little in the neighborhood, is the four-family flat.
