St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Charles

St. Joseph’s Hospital has been around since the Nineteenth Century, but what often happens is that the original buildings are torn down and replaced in the mid-Twentieth Century. Such is this case at this hospital, which is an interesting mix of different parts, built over the last couple of decades.

A chapel which is behind the giant curved swath of brown brick will be featured tomorrow. Below, this Brutalist wing built out back in the parking lot looks to be offices now.
